Rough times this year.

This play has gone on for 2.5 months.

Sometimes I think it really is Allen's play that is killing the confidence. Add to that how lazy tarasenko has been most of the year. Those two things could be the culprit.

I do not see the Blues as having it, the will to make the change. Maybe they just can't. Every player has had games that have looked bad. Schwartz, Pietrangelo, Uppie, Parayko......confidence is near ruined it seems.

At some point, who you are comes through. Might be that we have a few riders bringing us down.

And yes....Allen's comments are disturbing. Not the first time either.

Nice write up Jammer.

This team, I just don't understand them one bit.

If you do not like getting booed by your own fans then fix it. Effort works a lot.

How about the price that the Rangers got for renting Nash? A first rounder, Belesky, Spooner, and a seventh rounder? Crazy train...

As for this team? December is where it started. When Schwartz got hurt, the team folded mentally.

Allen has struggled mentally the last two years. That the Blues haven’t figured out how to get him the help that he needs is an indictment on them as much as anyone. Do they have a sports psychologist on staff? I can’t find any names linked to the team. This guy is young and needs help growing into his role. Sure, there are players who’ve made the transition easier. That’s not Allen. If he’s going to be a starting goalie for your team, you have to exhaust every effort to build a starting goalie.

This isn’t a new issue. The blues have mismanaged goalies for years.

Nash has been a shell of himself the last few years.

The trades seems to me to be getting Nash and dumping Beleskey's contract (part of it) for 1st, Spooner, Lindgren and a 7th. Still too much for Nash unless he helps you win the cup.

I'm glad the Blues stayed away from him.
